Board Game Dreamworld: An Unconscious Mind Card Game

Dreamworld is a lightweight card game designed for 2 to 4 players, with a playtime of approximately 20–30 minutes. Created by Jonny Pac, co-designer of Unconscious Mind, this game invites players to delve into the realm of dreams and psychological healing. ​

Game Concept:

As a follower of Freud's theories of the unconscious mind, your objective is to assist clients in overcoming their psychological traumas by interpreting the symbolism in their dreams. At the beginning of each round, players secretly select a dream card from their hand and reveal it simultaneously. These cards are then arranged numerically beside the current client. The difference between your card's number and the next determines the number of treatment tokens you can score—the larger the gap, the better. The first player to complete all their tokens demonstrates the most effective treatments, earning recognition as Freud's most formidable contemporary. ​
